It was all a clean sweep for Joe Biden. Democrats knew pardons were a clean-up job. They're just discussing timing and tactics. The Democrats certainly feel like they were laundering money, but I don't like the way he stuck the landing.
Biden lied about it, blamed Jill, flew to Africa, and left the party in the midst of a new identity crisis that exposed deep rifts in the Democratic Party to the public eye. Biden exposed his family. And his party man is just as interested in voyeurism as his son. Democrats complain behind the scenes that Joe seems selfish, sinful and stubborn. He was supposed to be a champion of democracy. Mr. No One's Bab the Law. And now Democrats think Biden has sacrificed the party's moral high ground.
