Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has posted a job ad for a project manager to check third-party candidates at the Democratic National Committee, signaling panic among Democrats over the state of the race.
Stein posted a screenshot of a job listing for an “Independent and Third Party Project Manager” on Friday.

“oh. @TheDemocrats “They posted, then took down, a job for a ‘Third Party Project Manager’ to infiltrate our competitors and find ways to exclude us from the vote. Are they ‘saving democracy’ this way?” Stein wrote.
The job ad comes as third-party candidates are hurting President Joe Biden in national polls, while damaging former President Donald Trump. show As of Saturday, Trump was leading Biden by 1.1 percentage points, 47.5 to 46.4, according to a five-way average from RealClearPolling. Expanding The poll rose to 2.4 percent, giving Trump a lead of 41.7 percent to 39.3 percent. Independent Robert F. Kennedy Jr. received 10.5 percent, and independents Cornell West and Stein, both of whom are on the political left, received 1.7 percent and 1.5 percent, respectively.

The first responsibility listed for the role will be to track the campaign activities of Stein, Kennedy Jr. and West and “share real-time information locally.”

The top goal listed in the “initial phase of work” is to gather “on the ground information to help assess the overall situation for independent and third-party candidates.”
This includes a candidate’s “progress in accessing the ballot,” “campaigning,” Organizational strength, voter and grassroots enthusiasm” Furthermore, the first stage includes “We are seeking leaders and advocates across the state for four current and future program priorities.”
As part of the mobilization effort, the project manager is tasked with recruiting volunteers to participate in Stein, West, and Kennedy Jr.’s events.
Other goals of the first phase are to recruit “volunteers for petition review and other legal assistance with potential ballot access challenges” and to engage in “petition review and assistance with the petition review program.”
