Joe Biden Ignores Questions on Son Hunter’s Pardon

US President Joe Biden ignored reporters' questions about granting his son Hunter Biden a surprise pardon during a brief stop in Cape Verde early Monday on his way to Angola.

As Breitbart News reported, the 80-year-old, whose term ends in a few weeks, immediately announced a diplomatic trip to Africa after pardoning Hunter, who had pleaded guilty to tax violations and was convicted of firearms charges. I left Washington for a stay.

Reuters report The president did not respond to questions about the issue from reporters on the tarmac of Amilcar Cabral International Airport, choosing to maintain strict silence on the issue.

He used the time during a stop on an Atlantic island off the west coast of Africa to meet with Prime Minister Ulises Correia e Silva.

Biden's first trip to the African continent as president (which he reserved until last) will focus on the Lobito Corridor rail redevelopment in Zambia, Congo and Angola.
