Joe Biden is facing a backlash from voters in his own party.

More than 100,000 voters voted “irresponsible” in the Michigan Democratic primary.

The Daily Beast reported:

On Tuesday night, President Joe Biden easily won Michigan’s Democratic presidential primary. That part was never in question.

The “No Commitment” camp said it hoped to get 10,000 votes in Michigan’s primary. That threshold was easily cleared on Tuesday, with “Uncommitted” receiving 10,000 votes in the Republican primary alone and looked set to receive more than 33,000 votes among Republican primary participants.

In the Democratic primary, that message was much stronger.

This “committed” movement ultimately received more than 100,000 votes in the Democratic primary, a clear rebuke of the president’s unconditional support for Israel, which received less than 11,000 votes in 2016. It was a sign of major difficulties for Biden in the settled state.

The movement is gaining momentum in more states.

The Daily Mail reported:

Other states with unconditional voter turnouts for Tuesday’s primaries include Washington, Colorado and Minnesota.

The Colorado Palestine Coalition announced the launch of Vote Uncommitted Colorado after Tuesday’s Michigan primary, calling on voters to reject Biden over his support for the Gaza war.

“We say no to the Joe massacre!” the coalition wrote on its social media platform.

The campaign also received support from the Democratic Socialists of America, who encouraged members to join the effort.

“Until this administration ends its support for Israel’s genocide in Gaza and achieves a permanent ceasefire, Joe Biden will hold the incoming administration of President Trump accountable,” they wrote.
