Chuck Todd Critiques Biden’s Presidency

Former NBC host Chuck Todd recently shared a frank evaluation of Joe Biden’s presidency, describing it in critical terms. In a video posted on Saturday, he pointed out that Biden’s leadership hasn’t significantly changed the political landscape, suggesting it has actually paved the way for Donald Trump’s potential return.

Todd expressed, “Biden’s presidency didn’t turn the page… he wasn’t a good leader because it would help better leaders turn the pages of the country.” While he acknowledged that some of Biden’s legislative actions might yield long-term benefits, he emphasized that Biden’s legacy is overshadowed by Trump’s resurgence.

According to reports, Trump made history in November by being the first person to reclaim the White House after losing a re-election bid since Grover Cleveland. Todd noted that Trump’s comeback is arguably the most significant political recovery in U.S. history. Cleveland emerged victorious following a nation divided by the Civil War, but Trump contended with challenges like legal issues and even assassination attempts.

Before Trump’s return, it was indicated that Biden spent about 40.3% of his presidency on leave, raising eyebrows. Todd’s observations seemed accurate as he critiqued Biden’s leadership throughout the four years in office.

Gallup polls from January placed Biden among the least favorable presidents in American history, highlighting issues under his administration—including the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, escalating inflation, and the political prosecutions of his opponents. The report further noted the repercussions of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and a surge in immigration, alongside an alarming 18% rise in homelessness in 2024, as documented by Biden’s own Housing and Urban Development Agency.

Todd also pointed out in April that mainstream media is not adequately covering concerns regarding Biden’s cognitive decline while in office.
