Joe Rogan Comments on Hunter Biden
Joe Rogan, known for his candid takes, shared his mixed feelings about former President Joe Biden, specifically lauding the interest surrounding his son, Hunter Biden.
On a recent episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan reacted to a clip from an interview with Channel 5’s Andrew Callahan. He expressed surprise at the notion that Hunter could potentially step into a significant political role. “He couldn’t. The reality of his situation is out there; his history is laid bare. Hunter seems smarter than his father,” Rogan remarked.
In discussing Biden’s frank admission about past drug use, Rogan humorously dubbed it “the biggest crack ad ever.” It seems viewers were buzzing on social media about the moments captured in Callahan’s interview with Biden.
Biden made a startling claim while discussing the distinctions between crack cocaine and cocaine. “The only difference is sodium bicarbonate, water, and heat. It’s that straightforward,” he asserted, adding that people often perceive crack as dirty, which he thought was misguided.
He went further to emphasize that alcohol, not crack, is the more perilous substance, arguing, “Alcohol is the most destructive drug. It poses a greater risk to me than anything else I’ve encountered.” Rogan noted how vivid and detailed Biden’s remarks were, prompting some to view it as an unintended advertisement for crack. “If crack isn’t harmful, it almost sounds like an invitation to try it. Not me, of course, but I can’t help but think this could be the most effective advertisement,” Rogan said while acknowledging Hunter’s astuteness.
Rogan commented on Biden’s reflections on addiction, pointing out that he discussed the compulsive nature of smoking and the psychological factors involved. “He gets it. He’s not just speaking nonsense,” Rogan observed.
Despite the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden—who has faced various challenges related to business dealings, past drug use, and his legal issues—Rogan seemed to find some merit in what was shared during the interview. The scrutiny on Hunter, fueled by the 2020 revelations from his abandoned laptop, continues to haunt him, containing controversial emails that hinted at overseas business pursuits connected to his father.
Amid the ongoing investigations, Hunter pleaded guilty to tax-related charges and had faced federal gun charges. While he hasn’t indicated any interest in politics, the recent interview has attracted notable reactions from right-leaning commentators. Notably, Fox News’s Jesse Watters remarked that Biden sounded like a “left-wing Trump” during the discussion, adding weight to the idea that Hunter’s views on immigration aligned with his father’s political beliefs.
“What he’s expressing is likely reflective of Joe Biden’s own thoughts,” Watters stated, calling Hunter “Dark Brandon Jr.” due to his bold remarks.
