Joe Rogan Appreciates Going to Church and Highlights the Positive Aspects of Believing in Jesus Christ

Podcaster Joe Rogan shares his thoughts on the left’s stance against Christianity, expressing his appreciation for church, praising Christ, and highlighting the benefits of Christianity.

On his podcast, Joe Rogan Experience, he discussed these views with hosts Frances Foster and Konstantin Kissin, who concurred that religion can offer moral clarity and mental peace.

He mentioned that he values religion for its capacity to improve lives.

“People are striving to be better, and for me, seeing them read and analyze Bible verses is fascinating. I’m genuinely curious about what those messages were intended to convey; they seem significant,” he said.

He added that some atheists aim to “negate” Christianity.

“There are many—like atheists and secularists—who want to dismiss Christianity as nonsense, calling it just a fairy tale. I’ve frequently heard this from those who consider themselves intelligent,” he noted.

Rogan pointed to historical and scientific evidence supporting various accounts from the Bible, remarking that they refer to actual locations and events. He highlighted the historical existence of Jesus, expressing admiration for the figure.

“This is a documented person in history,” Rogan stated about Jesus. “What’s interesting is that there’s a fairly consistent depiction of him among those who knew him, which is quite peculiar.”

He continued, “I’m not entirely sure about everything, but I sense there’s more. It’s history, though, that feels convoluted—perhaps because it’s so ancient. Stories can morph through oral tradition before being documented in languages and cultures that might not give the best clarity. There’s merit in what they are conveying.”

“What draws me most to Christianity is the one figure everyone agrees on. He seems to have outlined the ideal way for humans to connect and behave. He even faced death without resistance, perhaps epitomizing a non-violent approach by dying on the cross for humanity’s transgressions,” Rogan elaborated. “That’s a captivating narrative.”

He also observed that many Christians he has encountered are among the happiest and kindest individuals he’s met.
