Podcaster Joe Rogan accused left-wing media of losing viewers at a time when many Americans are increasingly wary of left-wing media's distrust and bias.

On his podcast, Rogan talked about a recent op-ed by billionaire Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos, headlined “The Hard Truth: Americans Don't Trust the News Media.” I added.

He parlayed the text into saying, “Essentially, we have to have diverse perspectives, we have to have lots of different points of view, we can't just be left-wing echo chambers, and that's why business is down. “This is the reason why we are doing so,” he summarized.

Rogan argued that the truth of Bezos' observation appears to be playing out across the media landscape.

“I was just reading something about the ratings for CNN and MSNBC after the election, and they both crashed,” Rogan said on Wednesday's show. “These left-wing weirdos on YouTube are hemorrhaging subscribers. Everywhere people go, they're told, 'You're out of line, you're not accurate, you're delusional.' We're talking about subscriptions, we're talking about buying the Washington Post, we're talking about buying the New York Times.”

And this week, the New York Times published a puzzling fact-finding investigation into Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s claim that popular breakfast cereals contain several artificial ingredients used in the United States that are not used in other countries. I remember posting it.

“The New York Times just debunked RFK Jr.'s claim that Froot Loops' ingredients are different in Canada and the U.S. in the most outrageous way. They say he's accurate. However, I fact-checked it, so their view was fact-checked.'' Fact-checking – it's really stupid when you look at the facts – I tweeted it. ”

He went on to say, “The fact check is so stupid because the fact check says it's not true, it contains the same ingredients…except for these harmful chemicals.” .

Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos wants more conservative opinion writers on paper: report

He then reads the fact check and adds his own commentary at the end, saying that these are “dangerous chemicals that are banned in Canada, and we're trying to eliminate them in the United States. So they're literally saying, ” he said. He was wrong, but he was right. ”

One of Logan's guests said, “I got a headache just reading about it.”

“That's the New York Fuckin' Times,” Logan exclaimed incredulously. “This is what the New York Times is doing, so it's no surprise that you're going to bleed out subscribers. You're crazy, you're crazy, and… your motives are… what?”

“If we say these things have been eliminated in other countries because they've proven to be dangerous, what's the motive to say he's wrong?” he wondered. .

When one of the guests said the motive was money, Logan asked, “What else could there be?” Before listing other possibilities like “ideology”.

Another reason, he suggested, is that “the left is rejecting RFK Jr. because now he's connected to Trump, and Trump is connected to the Nazis.” “It's like, you're going down this weird rabbit hole with these people and you're like, 'What are you trying to do? Are you trying to erase all the credibility that's left?'

“Are you trying to eliminate? Have you lost so much trust that you're trying to wipe everything out? Are you secretly working for the Chinese? For example, “What are you doing?” he asked.
