Joe Rogan Says to Spencer Pratt, 'I Would Vote for You' for Mayor of California

Joe Rogan has expressed his support for Spencer Pratt’s bid for mayor of Los Angeles in the upcoming June election. Although Rogan, who relocated from California some time ago, can’t vote in the state anymore, he told Pratt, “If I could still vote in the Golden State, I would vote for you.”

During a recent episode of the podcast, Rogan conveyed enthusiasm for Pratt’s campaign, saying, “I can’t vote for you, but I’m rooting for you. I mean, if I lived in Los Angeles, I would vote for you, without question,” while noting his current residence in Texas.

The two discussed Pratt’s plans to challenge the current mayor, Karen Bass, in the upcoming election. Pratt revealed that the Palisades fire last January motivated him to seek public office, stating, “I’ve gotten to the point where I’m tired of being a ‘yapper,’ as young people say in the comments section… I’m telling the truth.”

He went on to share that he had once been investigated by Congress and had met with various officials in Washington as a concerned citizen. “I thought, ‘Okay, here we go, here we go, work. I’m going to go to your headquarters and take your job, and then I’m going to eliminate all the toxic entities that are destroying our way of life in Los Angeles,’” Pratt added.

Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag, who co-starred with him on *The Hills*, have been vocal critics of Mayor Bass and Governor Gavin Newsom following the loss of their home in last year’s wildfires. Earlier this year, Pratt announced his candidacy while speaking at a “They Let Us Burn” rally in Pacific Palisades, marking the anniversary of the fire.

At the rally, he emphasized, “Business as usual is a death sentence for Los Angeles. I’m done waiting for someone to take real action. That’s why I’m running for mayor.” He concluded by asserting, “This isn’t just a campaign. This is a mission, and we’re going to expose the system. We’re going to penetrate every corner of LA politics and disinfect the city with our light.”
