When did Joe Rogan become the new Rush Limbaugh?
Politically, Spotify Podcasters is hard to read.he publicly refused To invite Donald Trump to the “Joe Rogan Experience” And no one knows how he will vote on Election Day.
Rogan invites COVID-19 vaccine skeptics, like Dr. Robert Malone and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to his show, and conservative culture figures like Riley Gaines and Christopher Rufo. Chatting with warriors is another story.
He also doesn’t fit the conservative mold of society. His mouth is so dirty that he happily shares his love of cannabis with the large crowd.
But his showcase on Spotify has become an important cog in the conservative culture wars. As a result, a UFC announcer’s fighting expertise may come in handy. The media, which already hate him, will not be happy about his transformation.
Logan has been supporting conservative causes for some time. Few celebrities have shared their concerns about mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations as loudly as Logan. And there aren’t many people who champion free speech like the former “Fear Factor” host. Furthermore, he has not hesitated to skewer the media’s far-left bias.
Lately, Logan has been pushing his right-leaning efforts in new directions.
Rogan invites COVID-19 vaccine skeptics, like Dr. Robert Malone and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., to his show, and conservative culture figures like Riley Gaines and Christopher Rufo. Chatting with warriors is another story.
The two graced the “Experience” studio in recent days, and I spent more than two hours with Rogan discussing issues near and dear to the hearts of most conservatives.
Logan and Gaines agreed that trans women have a biological advantage over their biological competitors in sports. Mr. Logan seemed stunned when he heard Mr. Gaines’ story. It alleges transgender swimmer Leah Thomas was pressured into pushing protesters who threatened her life during a protest. Appears at San Francisco State University in 2023.
Logan and Rufo bonded over their DEI skepticism, pointing out the corrosive impact DEI has on Western society.
Gaines and Rufo’s appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” is itself a form of protest. What other entertainment show would roll out the red carpet for either guest?
He also interviewed author Abigail Schrier, known for her critical views on so-called “gender reassignment surgery,” to promote her new book, Bad Therapy: Why Kids Don’t Grow Up.
A February conversation with TV personality Dr. Phil delved extensively into the porous U.S.-Mexico border. Both men pointed out how the Biden administration’s policies are making the United States less secure.
Additionally, Logan was quick to point out the Commander-in-Chief’s cognitive decline, again alienating him from most podcasters (and news outlets).
That’s why it’s no surprise that Rogan has come under renewed cancel culture attack in recent weeks. Some media outlets labeled a Feb. 29 conversation with black comedian Katt Williams as racist and misrepresented the conversation as such.
The two discussed government regulations on e-cigarettes and menthol cigarettes. Williams noted the latter’s popularity in some parts of the black community, prompting Logan to ask about the connection.
Sites like the Daily Beast and Newsweek twisted the question into something sinisterWe hope to revive the failed cancel culture attack. The podcaster’s critics previously combed through 12 years of the show, I found a clip of him using the “N-word.” He apologized through his Instagram account.
“That’s not the word I should be using. I’m well aware of that now, but I’ve been using the word that way for years…I’m not a racist, so I’m not a racist.” I have never used it in a discriminatory way.”
Critics used the edited clip as a weapon to pressure Spotify to fire him. It didn’t work. A new attack failed as well.
Mr. Logan has described himself in the past as center-left. In 2022, Logan slammed the Republican Party. He was recognized for his stance on same-sex marriage and other social policies.
“I’m far from a Republican, just because I believe in the Second Amendment, just because I support the military, and just because I support the police.”
It is in sharp contrast to his current state of mind. He denounced sex-reassignment surgery on minors, promoted self-sufficiency, and railed against Democratic Party decriminalization policies.
Logan recently renewed his lucrative Spotify contract with a strange wrinkle.
His podcasts are no longer only available on the platform. Currently, viewers can also find him on YouTube, iTunes, and other podcasting venues. This greatly expanded his influence in time for election season.
Was that the point?
His political affiliation doesn’t matter. His podcast speaks for him, and conservatives are sure to love what they hear.
