Tribute to Jeff Sperbeck

Jackson Sperbeck shared a touching tribute to his father, Jeff Sperbeck, who was John Elway’s longtime agent, in an emotional Instagram post on Sunday. He compiled a slideshow of memories that spanned from his childhood to more recent years, reflecting on the bond they shared before Jeff’s untimely passing at the end of last month.

In the post, he expressed, “Your footprints gave me direction. I will walk the rest with purpose,” adding, “I love you, Dad.”

Jeff Sperbeck, 62, tragically died from injuries sustained in a golf cart accident in California, which the Riverside County Coroner’s Office confirmed was accidental due to a blunt head injury. His death occurred when a passenger fell from the golf cart.

John Elway also released a heartfelt statement about the loss of his friend and business associate. He said, “I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the death of my best friend, business partner, and agent, Jeff Sperbeck.” Elway emphasized the profound sadness he feels, noting, “There are no words that truly express the deep sadness I feel at the sudden loss of someone that means so much to me.”

Elway extended his condolences to Jeff’s wife, Kori, their children Carly, Sam, and Jackson, and everyone who knew him. He described Jeff as someone deeply cherished for his loyalty, wisdom, friendship, and love, which have made a significant impact on many lives.
