A source close to Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania) said he was concerned that Kamala Harris might choose Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro as her running mate.

A spokesman for Fetterman declined to comment on the matter, but a spokesman for Shapiro defended his work on the pardon board.
“The Governor evaluates each pardon case individually and on its merits, and has approved more pardons and commutations during his tenure as Attorney General than all previous governors combined over the past 25 years,” he said. “The Governor is proud of his track record of achieving meaningful criminal justice reform while making Pennsylvania communities safer.”
The far-left wing of the Democratic Party has also attacked Josh Shapiro for his pro-Israel stance, Breitbart News reported. Shapiro recently came under fire over an anti-Palestinian op-ed he wrote in 1993.
“In the op-ed, Shapiro revealed that he volunteered to serve on an Israeli military base as a teenager and expressed the view that Palestinians are ‘too militant-minded to build a peaceful homeland for themselves,'” the report said.
