MSNBC host Joy Reid Posts She posted a video to her TikTok page on Thursday declaring that she would vote for President Joe Biden no matter what, even if he was in a coma.
Reid said her main goal in the next election is to remove “Hitler” former President Donald Trump from office. Democrats need to come together and tell her who they should vote for, she said. Biden has repeatedly said he will continue his campaign because he is the best choice to beat Trump, despite his terrible performance in last week’s debate.
“But when you had to choose between someone younger and fresher and Joe Biden, you chose Joe Biden.”
“Democrats, when you’ve finished gathering your thoughts, tell me, and then tell me who you think we should vote for to keep Hitler out of the White House. … If Biden is in a coma, I’m voting for comatose Biden,” Reid said. “I don’t particularly like the guy. Many of his policies? I don’t. He’s not Donald Trump, is he?”
“Yes, Hitler, the White House, we’re going to keep him out. We’re going to keep Project 2025 out. That’s all I care about. Up and down the ballot, from the cheerleaders to the horns, from the school board to the White House and everything in between. Governors, members of Congress, I’m going to vote no anyway to keep these people out.”
Reid also criticized Democrats for voting for Biden in the primaries despite the presence of much younger candidates in the 2020 election season.
“There were a lot of options out there that were younger than Biden and fresher and newer than Biden. So you know who you all picked for president and your nominee? Joe Biden,” Reade laughed. “But if you had to choose between someone younger and fresher and Joe Biden, you all picked Joe Biden. … The Democrats actually picked him in the first place, so just keep that in mind,” she continued.
Reid also warned that if Biden were to step down, Democrats would not be able to choose anyone other than Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him, because the primary elections to choose that candidate have already taken place.
Reade’s video was the latest anguish session for liberals and progressives who feel they don’t have many good options in an already close race. Post-debate polls have shown Trump leading in battleground states and states not thought to be swing states, showing how little confidence voters have in Biden.
