Judicial oversight was submitted on Tuesday Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit For DHS for security-related records provided on July 13thth2024 meeting in Butler, Pennsylvania. Meanwhile, there was an attempt to assassinate Trump.
They said they had previously obtained records related to the event, including records of rally and body camera footage from the Butler Township Police Department, including records from the Butler County District Attorney's office.
However, the group said efforts to retrieve records and data from the federal government have not been answered.
“Federal agencies need to clean up the events that led to the attempted assassination of President Trump,” said judicial surveillance president Tom Fitton. “It's been eight months since the first attempt, and Americans have yet to receive an answer under the FOIA regarding the Biden administration's failure to protect President Trump.”
Judicial Watch also said its FOIA request specifically targeted the Homeland Security Investigation Force, known as the HSI, which was reportedly helped provide security at the Pennsylvania rally.
