Kamala Harris has ‘no regrets’ over gaslighting the American people about Biden’s decrepitude

After weeks of avoiding the fourth estate, Vice President Kamala Harris fielded a quick question from a friendly liberal network this week.

Harris, in an interview with CNN's Dana Bash on Thursday, was given the opportunity to explain why she misrepresented President Joe Biden's capabilities, even though it was still to her advantage to do so.

Rather than admitting fault, Harris took a firmer stance and insisted she had no regrets.

“Right after the debate, you made a strong case for President Biden's ability to serve another four years in office.”
said Bash: “You've made the case that President Biden is 'exceptionally strong.'”

After the disastrous June 27 debate between Biden and President Trump, Harris
said CNN host Anderson Cooper said, “It certainly started slow but finished strong. And what was very clear throughout the night is that Joe Biden is fighting for the American people. On content, on policies, on record, Joe Biden is extraordinarily strong.”

When Cooper gently pushed back, noting Democrats' misgivings about Biden's performance, Harris responded, “You can argue about style, but ultimately this election and who becomes president of the United States has to be about substance. The contrast is clear.”

Bash asked Harris on Thursday: “Given the current situation, do you have any regrets about anything you've communicated to the American people?”

“No, not at all,” Harris said. “I've served President Biden for nearly four years, and this has been one of the greatest honors of my career, truly.”

“Joe Biden is alive and well.”

“He is incredibly intelligent and loyal to the American people,” Harris continued. “I've spent many hours with him in the Oval Office and in the Situation Room. He has the intellect, the responsibility, the judgment and the temperament that the American people believe they should have in a president.”

Meanwhile, the Trump campaign
said Harris acknowledged a lack of remorse: “She lied to the American people and continued to perpetrate a massive, widespread fraud until it could no longer be sustained.”

Harris' post-debate spin earlier this summer was not her first attempt to shore up public confidence in Biden's abilities.

Harris told reporters that contrary to Heo's portrayal, Biden has the ability to “tackle all the issues head on and be on top of everything.”
