Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris has announced her economic plan just days before heading to the party’s convention in Chicago, sparking calls for Vice President Harris to hold a press conference.
Tim Murtaugh, a senior adviser to the Trump campaign, told Fox News Digital that Harris was “hiding from the American people” and running the most deceptive campaign in history.
Murtaugh added that Harris is following President Biden’s lead in avoiding the media.
“She’s hiding from the American people, just like Joe Biden always does, but pretending to be the opposite of everything she’s ever stood for as a San Francisco liberal,” said an adviser to the Republican candidate.

Harris for 27 days Without holding a formal interview or press conference since Biden dropped out of the race and she quickly took his place.
CNN’s Jim Acosta on Wednesday pressed a spokesperson for Harris’ campaign about why she avoided holding a press conference.
Harris’ communications director, Michael Tyler, said she and her running mate, Tim Walz, had been “busy,” traveling around the country holding rallies.
Tyler told Acosta that Harris Interview by the end of this month.

“Kamaranomics”
Harris announced on Wednesday that if she takes office, she will implement a federal price-fixing program for “food and grocery products” to stop “big corporations” from mistreating consumers.
Harris has positioned her economic roadmap, which social media pundits have dubbed “Kamalanomics,” as an “opportunity economy” plan, with affordability measures including expanded down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers and a $6,000 child tax credit for first-time parents.

Murtaugh told Fox News Digital that Harris is choosing not to say her economic platform means she supports raising taxes on Americans.
“On taxes, she promised to repeal the Trump tax cuts and voted against expanding the child tax credit,” he said. “It doesn’t matter what she says now, she supported raising taxes when she had a choice.”
“No wonder her handlers don’t want her to talk, because every time she does she creates problems for herself.”

Since Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz joined Harris as her running mate, Trump has held news conferences at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, and Bedminster, New Jersey, and held a lengthy meeting with tech billionaire and supporter Elon Musk.
Trump’s running mate, J.D. Vance, spoke to reporters multiple times during this period and appeared on a series of TV shows.
