Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff’s Secret Service detail arrests NYC agitator

Secret Service guards working for Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter arrested an “anti-police watchdog” during a heated altercation on a New York City sidewalk on Tuesday, video shows.

Ella Emhoff, daughter of second gentleman Doug Emhoff, was having lunch at a TriBeCa restaurant when annoyed New Yorkers confronted her police escort outside, according to a report. Video obtained by TMZ.

Citing sources, the outlet reported that the “anti-police watcher” has been traveling around the city holding an NYPD parking permit and complaining about cars that can park anywhere without having to go around the block.

Secret Service agents guarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff arrested the instigator in New York on Tuesday.

The unidentified man in the black shirt was confronted by one of Emhoff’s plainclothes agents, unaware that he was a member of the Secret Service.

The instigator reportedly ripped off the license plate of a black SUV parked on the street during the altercation, leading to the NYPD being called to the scene.

The video shows Emhoff, who was in a car with a friend, being quickly escorted out and put into one of the SUVs.

The man was handcuffed and arrested, but it is unclear what charges he faces.

The Secret Service confirmed to TMZ that the man had been tampering with license plates for no reason before being detained and arrested, and noted that no one in their care was in danger.

The Secret Service has come under fire in recent weeks following the near-assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Suspect Thomas Matthew Crooks, who had climbed onto a nearby rooftop without being stopped by police, fired a bullet that grazed Trump’s right ear.
