Ella Emhoff, a left-wing activist and stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris (Democrat), appears to be promoting the use of the controversial drug ketamine for people who suffer from chronic pain.

The media continues:
“I was born with spinal stenosis (iykyk), which means my spine didn’t straighten properly while I was growing, resulting in a kyphosis (hunched back),” Emhoff, 25, with a Hello Kitty sticker plastered over his face, wrote to his 345,000 followers on Tuesday.

“I’ve been going to doctors and physical therapists for most of my adolescence. I’ve had back surgery that’s caused my spine to grow a million inches and now I suffer from chronic pain,” she continued.
In a subsequent post, Emhoff said: Share Link to a Google Doc that describes ketamine infusions as a pain relief therapy.
According to Breitbart News, in 2022, Sal Ingrassia, the Port Director for Customs and Border Protection at John F. Kennedy International Airport, told Fox News that they had seen an “alarming” increase in the amount of ketamine imported.
“The increase in ketamine imports is alarming. We know it’s being used as a party drug. Ketamine was originally used as a tranquilizer for horses,” Ingrassia said.
“That’s what ketamine was originally used for, but now people are finding ways to use it as a drug. It’s really concerning that we’re seeing so much of it, and it’s also concerning that it’s being mixed with other drugs like fentanyl,” he added.

According to the Associated Press, the surgical drug known as ketamine is being used as an alternative to opioids for people trying to manage chronic pain, the news agency reported in 2023.
“Ketamine was approved more than 50 years ago as a powerful anesthetic for patients undergoing surgery. It gained popularity as a club drug in the 1990s because, at low doses, it induces hallucinogenic and out-of-body experiences. More recently, it has been adopted as a painkiller, where patients are increasingly experiencing the same effects,” the report said.
In November 2023, Breitbart News reported that Emhoff, a model and fashion designer, was raising funds for Gaza in the wake of Hamas terror attacks on Israel.
