White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on Friday that she will rejoin President Donald Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., after stepping down from her current role. At 28, Leavitt made her intentions clear to reporters aboard Air Force One, although she didn’t detail her specific title or duties with the super PAC.
This move brings Leavitt back to a political environment she knows well; she had previously worked as a spokesperson for MAGA Inc. before her involvement in Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign and subsequently, her position as press secretary.
A source close to Leavitt confirmed to Fox News Digital that she is indeed heading back to MAGA Inc. and hinted that there are other opportunities on the horizon for her, though no further details have been provided as of now. MAGA Inc. has yet to comment on her new role.
“You guys will still see me all the time,” she told reporters, indicating her commitment to remaining active in Trump’s political circle as Republicans prepare for the midterm elections. Leavitt also mentioned that this flight with Air Force One marked her last official trip as press secretary.
Trump previously shared that Leavitt would be leaving her post at the end of the month to focus on her family life. In a heartfelt post on X, she described her departure as a “bittersweet decision,” revealing that the balance of being a press secretary alongside caring for her two young children was challenging.
“Serving as White House Press Secretary over the past year and a half has been the honor and adventure of a lifetime,” she expressed.
Leavitt made history by becoming the youngest individual to serve as White House press secretary when Trump took office again in January 2025.
Her resignation leaves a significant gap in the White House briefing room, and as of now, Trump has not announced her successor.
