Kathy Griffin tells fans to see her before she’s placed in Trump’s ‘internment camps’

Comedian Kathy Griffin has warned fans to check out her comedy show before President-elect Donald Trump locks her up during his second term.

Griffin promoted his touring comedy show, “My Life on the PTSD-List.” Chicago's WGN Radio Tuesday afternoon. On the show, Griffin said she was able to travel again after being placed on the “no-fly list” in 2017 over a controversial photo of a decapitated President Trump.

She joked that the situation could get even worse after President Trump returns to office.

“Please come and see me before you go to the concentration camp,” Griffin said.

She later added, “I'm on the enemy list. That's obvious. He was very, very scared when I took a parody photo of him with a Halloween mask and lots of ketchup. And He brings up my name every now and then. ”

Griffin said he had known Trump personally for 30 years, back when he was working on NBC's “The Apprentice” and appearing on the Bravo Network. She emphasized that people need to take him seriously, even as she noted how kind he was to her friend, the late Joan Rivers.

“At the time, most of us thought he was some kind of harmless clown, but he may not be kidding when he says he's going to set up a camp for his enemy list. So I know, I have my antenna up, but I'm not going anywhere. I have four dogs and I have great friends here,” Griffin said. .

Despite Griffin's claims, Trump has not talked about establishing concentration camps, although the Harris campaign accused him of doing so in a campaign ad.

Still, Griffin defended his dedication to his country, citing his work on behalf of soldiers in Uzbekistan, Iraq and Afghanistan.

“Don’t tell me I’m not a patriot, damn it,” Griffin said.
