Kathy Griffin tells fans to see her perform before she’s placed in Trump’s ‘internment camps’

Comedian Kathy Griffin has warned fans to check out her comedy show before President-elect Donald Trump locks her up during his second term.

Griffin promoted his touring comedy show, “My Life on the PTSD-List,” on Chicago's WGN Radio Tuesday afternoon. Griffin said on the show that she was able to travel again after being placed on the “no-fly list” in 2017 over a controversial photo of a decapitated President Trump.

She joked that the situation could get even worse after President Trump returns to office.

“Please come and see me before you go to the concentration camp,” Griffin said.

She later added: “I'm on the enemy list. It's very clear. He was very, very scared when I took a parody photo of him wearing a Halloween mask and lots of ketchup. And he took the opportunity to He brings up my name every time.”

Griffin said he had known Trump personally for 30 years, when he was working on NBC's “The Apprentice” and appearing on the Bravo Network. She emphasized that people need to take him seriously, even as she noted how kind he was to her friend, the late Joan Rivers.

“At the time, most of us thought of him as some sort of harmless clown, but when he said he was going to set up camp on his enemy's list, he might not have been kidding. I've got my antenna up, but I'm not going anywhere. I have great friends, and I love it here.

Despite Griffin's claims, Trump has not talked about establishing concentration camps, although the Harris campaign accused him of doing so in a campaign ad.

Still, Griffin defended his dedication to his country, citing his work on behalf of soldiers in Uzbekistan, Iraq and Afghanistan.

“Don’t tell me I’m not a patriot, damn it,” Griffin said.

Griffin faced backlash over the infamous photo of Trump holding a bloody fake head made to resemble Trump, and was eventually investigated by the Secret Service on suspicion of conspiring to kill the then-president. I decided to receive it.

She has since claimed that she has “permanently” lost at least a third of her audience as a result.
