Katy Perry, known for her hit “Firework,” has recently stirred up quite a buzz on social media by suggesting a romantic connection with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

In addition to the selfie, there’s a playful video where Perry is seen holding sushi while Trudeau leans in, sharing a moment of laughter. Perry’s caption simply read, “Tokyo,” which, perhaps, was a nod to their escapades. She managed to squeeze in some emojis, too, which added a light touch.
The romance quickly gained traction, especially after they were spotted together at a high-profile lunch with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. Trudeau, who recently took a break from public life following his split from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire, seems to be enjoying this new chapter.
