Keith Olbermann appears to endorse Trump assassination: ‘There’s always the hope’ (UPDATE)

Keith Olbermann, a far-left former cable news talking head, appeared to support the assassination of former President Donald Trump over the weekend.

What?

Olbermann, who has rarely shied away from espousing left-wing views, especially when the goal is to attack President Trump, noticed a post to X from the Biden-Harris headquarters account on Saturday afternoon. The headquarters touts itself as the “Biden-Harris 2024 Project.” The number of followers is over 300,000.

Olbermann’s response? “There is always hope.”

As you might imagine, the collective reaction to Olbermann’s words was not very positive. Below is a sample of the comments directed at him.

Olbermann’s Monday night X post also garnered praise, with just over 1,000 likes and nearly 3,000 comments.

Fox News reported Neither Olbermann nor the Trump campaign responded to requests for comment.
