Former White House physician and current Texas congressman Ronny Jackson released a report alleging the former president was shot in the ear.
However, Olbermann absurdly posted that Jackson is “not a doctor,” a false claim.
Still, Jackson noted that the bullet struck Trump within a quarter of an inch of his head.
“The bullet wound caused a two-centimetre wide wound which reached the cartilage surface of the ear. There was significant bleeding initially and then significant swelling over the entire upper part of the ear. The swelling has since subsided and the wound has started granulating and is healing properly,” the doctor said.
“The ear is rich in blood vessels so there was intermittent bleeding and it needed to be bandaged. The wound itself was wide and blunt so no stitches were needed,” he added.
The former White House physician added that the “bullet passed through” and was “less than a quarter of an inch away from entering” Trump’s head.
