Kevin Sorbo recently criticized Democrats, suggesting that the migration out of California is more than just relocation. He described it as an “escape.”
The actor, known for his role in “Hercules,” expressed his concerns about the decline in leadership and changes in culture on the West Coast, stating he is now advocating for Florida as his home.
During an interview with Sky News Australia, he commented on Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, labeling him a “complete clown.” Sorbo remarked on the troubled state of the country, noting how strange it is to witness the current political climate.
“I feel a change. When I moved seven years ago, I left California behind and settled in Florida, which I consider the free state. I transitioned from having the worst governor, Gavin Newsom, to the best, Ron DeSantis,” he asserted passionately.
At 67 years old, Sorbo is becoming increasingly vocal about his political stance, not shying away from expressing his opinions. When discussing the possibility of Newsom running for president in 2028, Sorbo reflected on the challenges facing California.
“The state has been dealing with negative growth for the last ten years. More people are leaving than arriving. Many of my friends have relocated to Texas, Tennessee, and Florida,” he noted.
He pointed out that the top five blue states losing residents are seeing those individuals move to predominantly red states.
This isn’t the first time Sorbo has been open about his political views. He has often claimed that his conservative and Christian beliefs have resulted in him being marginalized in Hollywood long before “cancel culture” became a widely recognized concept.
“I was among the first victims, even before that term was coined. Years ago, Hollywood punished me for expressing my views online. I thought, ‘Is it a problem that I’m speaking the truth?’” he articulated in a previous interview.
“They despise the truth, hate any Christians in the industry, and are against conservatives. To them, I’m like some kind of double leper, almost like kryptonite,” he concluded.
