Kevin Sorbo Criticizes Democratic Leadership and California’s Migration Trends

Kevin Sorbo, known for his role in “Hercules,” is vocal about what he perceives as troubling changes in California, labeling the recent migration out of the state as more than just a relocation; he views it as an escape.

The actor articulated his view that declining leadership and a shifting culture on the West Coast are significant issues, which influenced his own move to Florida. During an appearance, he expressed strong feelings about Minnesota’s Democratic Governor Tim Walz and his frustration about the state of the country.

He described Walz quite bluntly, calling him a “complete clown” and expressing bewilderment at the political landscape. “It’s weird to see the state of things,” he remarked, adding, “I moved out of California seven years ago to the free state of Florida. From the worst governor, Gavin Newsom, to the best, Ron DeSantis.”

When discussing California’s political environment and Governor Newsom’s potential run for president in 2028, Sorbo shared his concerns about the exodus from the state: “There’s been negative growth for a decade. More people are leaving than moving in.” He noted that many of his friends have relocated to states like Texas, Tennessee, and Florida, with a notable trend where blue states are losing population while red states are gaining.

This isn’t Sorbo’s first foray into political commentary. He has consistently stated that his conservative views have barred him from Hollywood long before “cancel culture” became a recognized term. Reflecting on his experiences, he claimed, “I was the first victim,” referencing how Hollywood responded negatively to his online statements years ago. He believes this reaction stems from a larger issue, saying, “They hate the truth, they hate Christians in Hollywood, they hate conservatives—I’m like kryptonite to them.”

As Sorbo continues to embrace this political path, he remains unapologetic about his beliefs, voicing concerns about where the country is headed.
