The Islamic Republic of Iran will “turn the White House into the center of Shiite Islam,” Lotfollah Degikam, a representative of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and a cleric in Fars province, vowed in recent remarks.
“American officials who don't believe in God should know that this promise will come true,” Digicam said, warning that incoming President Donald Trump “will not be able to do anything outrageous.”
Mr. Digicam gave a Friday sermon in Shiraz, Iran on January 10th. expressed His belief that world power is shifting in favor of Islam, he said, “the future is not far away” and “tomorrow is ours,” ultimately led to the White House becoming “the center of Shiite Islam.” I envision it changing to
“It has been this way since the beginning of God’s creation,” he declared. “There are ups and downs. There are good and bad. There are wins and losses. There are good days and there are difficult days.”
“This is what it is,” he added. “Don't despair, have hope.”
Led by chant leaders, the crowd chanted chants of “Allah Akbar” and “Khamenei is the leader,” while shouting slogans such as “Death to those who oppose the rule of law.”
The sermon was punctuated by enthusiastic choruses from the audience and culminated with a sharp warning to the United States.
“Godless American officials need to know that this promise will come true,” Digicam argued.
“They keep saying nonsense because they are locked up now,” he continued. “They know that the powers of the world are shifting in God's favor.”
Iranian clerics also addressed President Trump, dismissing his promises to restore American power.
“I heard President Trump say this recently.'' [U.S. defeats] This is because America does not have strong leaders. [and said:] “Come to the office and we'll take care of everything.'' We want to tell him, “You won't be able to do anything outrageous either,'' he declared.
Amid rising tensions with the United States, Friday sermons from Iran, the world's leading sponsor of terrorism, often combine religious messages with sharp anti-Western rhetoric.
August, Iran's Senior Ayatollah called Citing “blood revenge” against America for numerous “American crimes,” Iran claimed it “dominated” American interests in the region and could attack America “within half a day.”
