His establishment, a popular honky-tonk steakhouse, abruptly closed its kitchen on May 10 due to the rumored ice raids in the vicinity. Reports suggested that the kitchen was thoroughly cleaned following the incident. In a statement shortly after, Kid Rock reaffirmed his commitment to Trump’s deportation efforts, distancing himself from any allegations related to illegal immigration.

In a post on social media, he noted, “I have nothing to do with daily operations at the Honky Tonk, but I get that it’s good clickbait.” He added, “I am 100% supportive of removing illegal criminals from our country, wherever they may be.” He expressed admiration for Trump’s desire to expedite the process of legal immigration.

Despite the criticism, Kid Rock pointed out that those celebrating the negative repercussions of Trump’s policies on his supporters are misled. “It’s that simple, folks. But that narrative isn’t as sensational as one that gets clicks,” he remarked.
