KJP goes viral for all the wrong reasons after calling fallen soldiers ‘military folks’ in barely coherent interview

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made headlines Monday for all the wrong reasons.

Last weekend, three American military personnel were killed. More than 40 others were injured with a drone attack. They were stationed at a U.S. outpost in northeastern Jordan. The US government said Iranian-backed extremists were responsible for the attack.

In an interview with MSNBC, Mr. Jean-Pierre spoke about the fallen soldiers, but seemed almost unable to formulate a coherent statement.

I just want to say, our deepest, um, of course, our deepest condolences, and our deepest condolences, uh, to the families of the deceased. To the, um, three, three brave, uh, three brave, uh, three brave — three people who are military, brave and always fighting. The people, the people who are fighting on behalf of this administration, on behalf of the American people, obviously, it’s more important than that.

As the President said yesterday when he was in South Carolina, we have lost those souls. Our hearts go out to their families and friends. And let’s not forget that there are wounded soldiers and wounded service members, and our hearts go out to them. So we want to express our deep, um, deep, thoughtful condolences to them.

Not only was the interview a rambling mess, but Jean-Pierre also drew harsh criticism for describing the fallen soldiers as “soldiers” who fought for the Biden administration.

  • Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas): “Service members take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. They are not fighting ‘for’ the Biden team. This is incredibly disrespectful. ” answered.
  • “I understand why they keep rolling out Kirby,” said Rep. Mike Walz (R-Fla.).
  • “Note to Press Secretary @PressSec: They are not ‘citizens’. They are military personnel who gave their lives not for this administration, but for the country they serve! They are our best people. He deserves more recognition than this,” the former congressman said. Air Force Col. Doug Collins (right) Said.
  • “We don’t fight for any regime @PressSec, we just fight for the constitution. Your constitution doesn’t follow the dip****” Retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness Said.
  • “Folks, this is what she looks like every time she does a press conference at the White House. “It’s impressive how bad she is,” said journalist Curtis Hawk. Said.
  • “After almost two years of service, it is truly amazing to see this result.” [how] Karine Jean-Pierre could just be a boon[ting] Work is even worse…” Media reporter Joe Concha reacted.
  • “The KJP confirms everyone’s biggest fears about this administration: that it is run by stupid, incompetent people who are unpatriotic and have no understanding of the problems facing our country.” and Allie Beth Stuckey I got it..

President Joe Biden has vowed to respond to the attack, but senior US officials have said the US has no intention of going to war with Iran.
