Knicks fans keep taking over at State Farm Arena: 'Nice to witness'

Knicks Fans Take Over State Farm Arena

Knicks supporters, who really made their presence felt in Game 3, transformed State Farm Arena into something akin to Madison Square Garden for Game 4.

They weren’t exactly overwhelming in terms of noise or numbers during the previous game, but things shifted dramatically for Game 4.

It was noticeably louder, that’s for sure.

Jalen Brunson remarked, “One of the coolest things I always think about when I’m done playing is how dedicated traveling Knicks fans are. Whether they live here now or not, they really know how to energize an away stadium. It’s just amazing to witness.”

The atmosphere buzzed as the Knicks scored and extended their lead. When they were on offense, fans could frequently be heard shouting “defense.” Interestingly enough, CJ McCollum, who was supposed to be playing in his home arena, faced some boos.

While Hawks fans tried their best to compete with the noise, they found it tough, especially given how one-sided the action was in Game 4.

Karl-Anthony Towns noted, “Knicks fans travel everywhere.” It’s just something special. Since last year, we’ve recognized just how awesome they are, but seeing a stadium filled with Knicks supporters in Abu Dhabi during preseason? That’s wild. They bring such energy and passion; you really feel it in the building. It’s like every game feels like home—whether it’s at an away venue or somewhere far-flung like Abu Dhabi.”

After the Knicks secured their victory in Game 4, their locker room was filled with representatives from Atlanta’s Magic City strip club.

In a light-hearted tone, Magic City took to Instagram saying, “We don’t want to take credit for the win… but…”

Former NBC analyst Nick Carmelo Anthony has been critical of Towns this year, but after his impressive triple-double in Game 4, he offered some praise.

“We talk about KAT and the expectations around him,” Anthony mentioned on the network. “Today, he was the team’s leader in assists and aggressiveness, really capitalizing on the defense. It was just an all-around great performance.”
