Heartfelt Father’s Day Tribute from Kyle Busch’s Widow
Kyle Busch’s widow shared a poignant tribute on Father’s Day, expressing the family’s sorrow as they grappled with what should have been a joyful occasion. She reflected on the struggle to navigate the day after his passing.
Samantha Bush posted her emotional message along with a video montage. The couple had two children, Brexton, 11, and Lennix, 4.
Kyle, who was 41, died on Father’s Day last month due to complications from severe pneumonia that led to sepsis. His sudden death left a significant impact on both the motorsport community and his family.
Samantha shared, “This still feels completely unreal.” She reminisced about the night before, recalling the Father’s Day cards she had prepared but never got to give. She reflected on how the day was meant to be filled with happiness for both Kyle and the kids.
In her eulogy, she noted how Kyle was a father who embraced every opportunity to be playful, whether it was racing his kids around the neighborhood or staying up late to read them one more story.
She emphasized nothing brought him more pride than being their father.
The video featured precious moments with her children, from Brexton sprinting toward the beach to walking alongside Lennix in the pit lane.
“Seeing these memories hurts in ways I can’t describe, but they also remind me of how fortunate we were to have him,” she stated.
“Kyle, our kids, and I miss you every single day. Our hearts ache for you, but it’s more than just that. Your absence is felt physically, pulling at us deeply. Missing you is something we feel in our very bodies.”
Samantha vowed to keep sharing his stories and laughter, ensuring their kids always know how much their father loved them.
She ended her post with a touching message to Kyle, wishing him a happy Father’s Day and reiterating, “I love you more than words can express and miss you.”
