An angry woman was filmed attempting to disrupt a couple’s romantic marriage proposal in California, which escalated into a heated encounter. The video captures her approaching the videographer and photographer responsible for documenting the engagement in Laguna Beach.
In the footage, the unidentified woman confronts the crew as they discreetly film the couple approaching a picturesque cliffside setup. She insists that the setup be removed, claiming, “The park is for people who live here and enjoy the park and have picnics.” A crew member tries to respond, saying they would leave soon, but the woman argues back, expressing frustration about similar scenes happening every weekend.
According to a videographer, the incident unfolded on October 2 as they were working on the proposal. They noted that while the city of Laguna Beach requires permits for filming, it’s unclear if they had one for this shoot. The proposal itself included beautiful rose petals shaped into the question “Will you marry me?” and was accompanied by a mariachi band, offering a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean.
Before the couple reached the setup, the woman continued her demands to dismantle it. “Just tell him to tear it down,” she insisted, claiming she had called the police. Another crew member asked her to lower her voice as the couple arrived, but she dismissed the request, insisting that she wouldn’t be quiet.
As the music began and the couple arrived, the situation turned uglier. The woman made a derogatory remark, shouting, “Go back to Mexico,” as she walked past them. This unpleasant exchange overshadowed a moment that was meant to be joyful for the couple. The video has since sparked widespread outrage, with many criticizing the woman for attempting to ruin such a significant occasion for the couple.
