Laughlin Air Force Base breached by Mexican national who ran from Border Patrol agents: CBP

A Mexican national jumped a fence and entered Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas on Thursday, officials confirmed.

When Del Rio Border Patrol agents attempted a traffic stop on Highway 90 East early Thursday morning, a 17-year-old male escaped from the vehicle and entered the base, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said. (CBP) A spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital.

The man was later taken into custody by Border Patrol agents.

The breach occurred shortly after two Jordanians attempted a breach. Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia earlier this month.

Four other men in the vehicle were also detained on suspicion of illegal entry, according to CBP.
