GM cancels robotaxi project to focus on self-driving cars
|
|
|
General Motors (GM) announced Tuesday that it will stop funding robotaxis development and instead focus on developing fully self-driving personal vehicles. GM's self-driving car subsidiary, Cruise, will be combined with the automaker's own team to form a single division focused on self-driving. GM noted that expanding its robotaxi business and increasing competition will require “significant time and resources.”
