Lawyers for Sean Diddy Combs’ ex-girlfriend Kathy are slamming the actor’s recent “disingenuous” apology over the release of a video showing him brutally beating a woman.
Meredith Firetog, attorney for Cassandra “Cathy” Elizabeth Ventura; Said Fox News reported that “Combs’ latest comments are more about himself than they are about the many people he has hurt.”
“When Kathy and several other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested the victims were looking for a payday,” Firetog added. “The fact that he was forced to ‘apologize’ for the first time after his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation and leaves no one shaken by his dishonest words. There will be no one there.”
Of course, after surveillance video taken at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016 was released by CNN this month, Diddy quickly came out and apologized.
Surveillance camera footage from the InterContinental Hotel in Century City shows Diddy, wrapped in a towel, chasing Cassie down the hallway. Her video goes on to show him attacking her, grabbing her by the neck and throwing her to the ground. He is then seen kicking his girlfriend several times and grabbing her arm and dragging her into the hallway.

The video appears to be part of a lawsuit Ventura filed against Combs in November. The lawsuit was settled for an undisclosed amount.
After CNN published the video, Combs rushed to Instagram to claim he was “disgusted” by his actions during the recording.
“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I was disgusted when I did it. I’m sick of it,” the music mogul posted on his social media accounts on Sunday. He said in a video statement.
“It’s very difficult to look back on the darkest moments of your life, but sometimes you have to,” Combs said in an apology video. He added: ” and I sought professional help. I went to therapy and started going to rehab. I had to ask for God’s mercy and grace. sorry. But I am dedicated to becoming a better man every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. Really sorry. ”
