Minneapolis Teachers Union Leaders Discuss Anti-ICE Involvement

Leaders from the Minneapolis Teachers Union openly acknowledge the role of elected officials in organizing efforts against ICE through communication platforms like Signal. Marcia Howard, president of the Minneapolis Federation of Educators, shared her insights during an interview, according to a recent report.

Howard expressed that many individuals involved with ICE operations often believe they are safeguarding their communities by forming these Signal groups and even patrolling their neighborhoods. She emphasized that there is no shame in such activities, despite the misconceptions that surround them.

“Our employers are actively engaging in these chats, and our officials are also working to protect our community—everyone from our neighbors to local sports coaches,” she noted, reinforcing the unity among various stakeholders in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Recent reports indicated that the FBI has launched an investigation into a network of activists in Minneapolis who are reportedly obstructing federal immigration enforcement. This news surfaced alongside claims that these activists use Signal to coordinate their activities and share information about federal vehicles.

According to sources, there appears to be a systematic approach led by Democratic leaders to create a surveillance network aimed at hindering federal investigations into significant immigration violations and taxpayer fraud.

As tensions rise in Minneapolis and other cities with ongoing protests, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) continues its operations, arresting individuals illegally in the country who are convicted of serious crimes.

In a related interview, a left-wing protester confessed that he was being compensated for his participation in the Minneapolis protests. Furthermore, a national security expert pointed out that these demonstrations are linked to a broader network of individuals who engage in confrontational activities against law enforcement while promoting certain ideological agendas.
