Trump Announces Lawsuit Against Wall Street Journal
President Donald Trump has decided to take legal action against the Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and its chairman Rupert Murdoch.
On Thursday, he shared that both he and his aide, Caroline Leavitt, received warnings from Murdoch regarding upcoming articles in the Wall Street Journal. One of the stories suggests that Trump created a painting of a woman’s breasts and included a birthday note to young magistrate Jeffrey Epstein, which reportedly read, “Happy birthday – and every day may be another great secret.”
Prior to the article’s release, Trump and Leavitt had direct discussions with the editors of the Wall Street Journal. Emma Tucker, an editor there, claimed the letter was “fake.”
“I’ve never painted in my life. I don’t paint women,” Trump asserted when approached about the letter. “It’s not my language.”
Despite Trump’s denial of writing to Epstein, the outlet went ahead with the publication. Following this, Trump took to social media to declare his intention to sue the Wall Street Journal, NewsCorp, and Murdoch.
“President Trump has already prevailed against George Stephanopoulos and 60 Minutes, and I look forward to going to court to hold others accountable. The Wall Street Journal has turned into nothing but ‘nasty, dirty rags,’ and publishing such lies illustrates their desperation to remain relevant.”
In a post on Truth Social, he further commented, “If the Epstein hoax had any truth to it, this information would have surfaced years ago from Comey, Brennan, the bent Hilary, and other radical left figures, just as it pertains to President Trump.”
