White House Spokeswoman Reflects on Six Months of Trump’s Second Term
White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt marked six months since President Donald Trump began his second term during a recent podcast appearance. She described the experience as “ruthless” and noted the momentous occasion in a social media post.
Trump officially reached this milestone on Sunday, posting that the U.S. has been “completely revived” after being “dead” under former President Joe Biden. Leavitt emphasized that Trump is not just enjoying his presidency but is also fulfilling critical campaign promises.
“Reflecting on the campaign, he made a lot of pledges, but two stand out: defeating inflation and securing the border. We’ve talked to various groups across the country,” she mentioned on the “Ruthless” podcast.
Leavitt expressed optimism about Trump’s achievements so far. “Six months in, it’s impressive. In terms of either party’s presidency, I can’t recall seeing someone deliver on two major campaign points so effectively,” she said. “Inflation seems to be under control now, prices are trending down, and the economy appears to be thriving.”
Despite claims that Trump requires legislation to strengthen border security, she argued that he has already made significant strides. “I mean, we really needed a fresh start, and the American people put their trust in him,” Leavitt joked.
She also mentioned that Trump has effectively worked with Congress to pass substantial legislation. “It’s incredible what he has achieved in six months with one significant bill,” she claimed.
Leavitt highlighted Trump’s foreign policy efforts, referencing successful negotiations regarding hostages and conflicts. “It’s been an outstanding six months, with many successful deals already in place,” she continued, conveying enthusiasm for the future.
As she recounted Trump’s intense work ethic, she noted how much the team is enjoying their roles. “There’s still plenty to accomplish, but it’s been a thrilling ride thus far,” Leavitt remarked.
She pointed out that Trump’s approach this time around feels especially engaging. “In his first term, he was really fighting to govern amidst various challenges – Russian hoaxes and the like. Now, it’s about keeping his promises, and that’s exciting,” Leavitt stated, praising the administration’s efforts.
According to a poll from National Research, Inc., the “Ruthless” podcast, hosted by Josh Holmes, Michael Duncan, and John Ashbrook, has become a prominent news source for men aged 18-45.
In a move to broaden its media presence, Fox News has entered a licensing agreement for the “Ruthless” podcast, announcing that new episodes will be available on various platforms every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
