LeBron James calls out media for Joel Embiid criticism: ‘No accountability’

LeBron James is criticizing the media for defending Joel Embiid.

The Philadelphia 76ers’ star center was at the center of the conversation last Saturday, as he appeared to “scam” the Nuggets and their center Nikola Jokic in a nationally televised incident.

Embiid, who hasn’t played in Denver since 2019, appeared to have a good chance of playing, but was ultimately slowed by a knee injury despite warming up before the game.

He was criticized for missing games and the team was fined $75,000 for not listing Embiid on the injury report prior to his unexpected absence.

However, Embiid missed the team’s next game before getting hurt against the Warriors on Tuesday and is now dealing with a left meniscus injury, leaving James on defense.
