Left wing Echo Chamber Reddit has embraced the French Revolution to resist President Donald Trump. The platform famous for conservative censorship allows a post calling for a violent political revolution in the French style of “risking of terror” to spread to the virus in the early weeks of the Trump administration.
“They want Germany in 1939, let them give France 1789” is showing up throughout the platform. “1789 France” is spiked in Google search, and X Radar is an X feature that allows users to monitor keywords and track conversations.
References to the French Revolution explain the period from 1789 to the late 1790s. French citizens “fundamentally changed the political landscape and uprooted centuries-old institutions such as monarchies and feudal systems.” Note.
“The upheaval was caused by a dislike for the economic policies of King Louis XVI, who had encountered his death by guillotine, as was the case with his French nobles and his wife, Marie Antoinette,” adds the site.
The historical website states, “This “degenerated into a blood band during the reign of terror, but the French Revolution helped shape modern democracy by showing powers inherent to the will of the people.” It states.
The French Revolution was particularly concluded with the rise of Napoleon Bonaparte, who took power in November 1799.
Interestingly, Bonaparte resurfaced in the news last weekend after President Trump published a social media post that resembles a line from a 1970 film. Waterlooabout the former French emperor.
“People who save their country are not violating the law,” Trump posted on his social media account on Saturday.
Interestingly, President Trump's post, featuring one sentence from a historic film, sparked a predictable wave of rage from critics and the left, attempting to cast him as a budding dictator.
Ironically, the current political left call for the French Revolution suggests that they are fighting for being dictators themselves.
Reddit has a long history of conservative censorship, including the closure of The_donald, an influential community of Trump supporters on the platform. The left-wing company censored The_Donald because it alleged that users pose a threat of violence, but Trump supporters didn't threaten a new rule of fear as they do today.
