Some left-wing members of the Congressional “Squad” are facing a class action lawsuit over anti-Israel camps and protests that erupted at Columbia University a few months ago.
Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) are accused of “inciting and encouraging” the attack. New York Post report Saturday.

According to court documents, the three Radical Democrats were among the “outside advocates” who criticized police for breaking up a hateful demonstration that culminated in a violent takeover of the school’s Hamilton Hall on April 30, when masked protesters occupied a campus courtyard, chanting “Free Palestine!”, burning an Israeli flag and throwing stones.
Five anonymous students filed a lawsuit that also targets several activist groups, claiming the encampment is illegal and violates university rules.
“Residents of the building harassed, followed, physically obstructed, threatened and bullied Jewish students,” the document states. postTwo of the five students are Jewish.

In May, Jewish students at Columbia University penned an open letter defending Israel in response to the protests, Breitbart News reported at the time.
““The letter not only praises Israel for defending the Jewish people, but also for being a democratic state in the Middle East and a home for Muslims and Christians. The letter ends with a call for peace and understanding,” the article states.
The media reported on May 31 that anti-Israel protesters had again set up camp on campus after a raid by the New York City Police Department (NYPD).
The first encampment encouraged others to create encampments at other universities across the country.
“Protesters, who took part in various camps and protests on university campuses, made a wide range of demands, including calling for universities to divest from Israeli companies, ending academic ties with Israeli educational institutions and calling for a ceasefire in Israel’s war with Hamas,” Breitbart News reported.
