The local insane asylum apparently turned up to make a small, unknown city trans again.
On Tuesday, the Worcester City Council in Massachusetts voted in favor of a resolution to make their city a sanctuary for transgenders and other members of the seemingly endless LGBT alphabet. The meeting leading up to the vote also featured a colorful cast of characters, including a woman who claims to have two transgender kids. (Subscribe to MR. One speaker, wearing creepy white gloves and what appeared to be a purple wig, said she fears President Donald Trump’s administration will come after the city.
“If you say that you’re afraid of Trump and that’s why you don’t want the city to be a safe space for trans people, you better prepare for trans people to make this a very unsafe space,” the speaker said.
Another attendee said, “You have an incredible opportunity as a community to support our children; you have an opportunity to decrease the rates of depression and suicide by showing our children that their safety and dignity are a priority.”
Following hours of public testimony, the council voted 9-2 in favor of the resolution, which recognized the vital importance of sex change surgeries.
By now, we’ve all grown accustomed to sanctuary cities for illegal aliens, but sanctuary cities for dudes who fetishize cross-dressing is something else entirely. It’s also the kind of liberal ‘resistance’ virtue-signaling you would expect to see during the first Trump administration.
And it’s almost too absurd — and too tragic — to believe. Worcester, once a great, 20th-century manufacturing hub of New England, now has its priorities straight: making the city ‘safe’ for its tiny sliver of utterly deluded citizens.
