A video of a liquor store employee in Oakland, California, fighting off a group of young men on bicycles at gunpoint has been widely circulated on social media.
The video shows a store clerk standing in front of the store being surrounded by young men, one of whom hits him in the face with a right hook. As the clerk retreats to the entrance of the liquor store, a number of other assailants begin kicking and punching him, according to the video posted by Colin Rugg.

Another angle shows rioters surrounding him and him pulling out a firearm and hitting them until the crowd disperses.

The worker brandished the gun and pointed it at multiple people, but no shots appear to be fired in the video.
The incident happened Saturday at Golden Hours liquor store on International Boulevard in Oakland. According to In the New York Post. (RELATED: Video shows gunfight erupts at religious gathering)
Although it did not appear that the worker fired a gun, Oakland police responded to the incident to investigate the activation of ShotSpotter, a technology that detects gunfire. said Daily Mail.
No one was shot and police have not made any arrests, according to the Daily Mail.
The Daily Caller reached out to Oakland police for confirmation but had not heard back as of press time.
