Sen. Mike Rounds (R.S.) said Sunday that he believes former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard needs “good guidance” before her Senate confirmation hearings, but that he has confidence in her.

He appeared on NewsNation's “The Hill” on Sunday to weigh in on the ongoing controversy surrounding Gabbard's confirmation.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) joined CNN on Sunday for one of his final interviews before retiring from Congress.

Romney, who ran an unsuccessful campaign against former President Barack Obama in 2012 and has frequently criticized President-elect Trump, has announced that he will not seek re-election in late 2023.

At the time, Romney told reporters he had no intention of endorsing anyone to replace him.
