Lori Vallow Daybell, convicted of killing two children in 2023, lamented what he described as a “family tragedy” in the final discussion of his second murder trial in Arizona, and ended on Monday ahead of the ju apprentice deliberation.

Maricopa County Prosecutor Trenakay presented evidence during the trial, claiming that Cox had staged crime scenes to help conceal a planned murder case designed to look like a self-defense shooting.
She also rebutted a statement from Vallow Daybell that alleged murder was a “family tragedy.”

“The execution of Charles Vallow is not a family tragedy. There’s nothing you can say about shooting a man, as he lies in the land where he can try to interpret it in some way to create that family tragedy,” Kay said.
Kay presented evidence that Barrow Daybell allegedly told Chad Daybell, “We’ve driven him away.”

“He changed his life insurance before killing him. What does it tell you? It tells you your motivation and it tells you who did it,” Kay said, adding Vallow Daybell’s actions before and after the murder of Charles Vallow showed “plans” and “pre-edited” murder.
She further described Valor Daybell’s attitude after Charles Valor’s death as “subtle” and “serene” and said she did not question her brothers or house shortly after Valor’s murder.
