A 33-year-old man who was in possession of thousands of images and videos of child sexual abuse, including of infants and young children, has been sentenced to prison and supervised release/restitution.

When questioned by investigators, Noonan admitted operating the account and said illegal content could be found on his digital devices. Four of the devices seized by the FBI contained nearly 50,000 images and videos of child sexual abuse.
He also admitted to sexually abusing children and recording the abuse several times. Investigators were unable to find any video of the abuse.
Noonan pleaded guilty in June to distributing and possessing child sexual abuse material.
On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Nancy Thoresen sentenced him to 15 years in prison, 10 years of supervised release, and ordered him to pay $108,000 in restitution to his victims.
“Mr. Noonan has admitted to a long and disturbing history that includes viewing and downloading child sexual abuse material for more than 20 years, in addition to illicit sexual contact with children,” said U.S. Attorney Darcy McElwee. said in a statement. “This sentence will protect children from victimization and hopefully bring some justice to those he exploited.”
