USDA on Wednesday announcement The University of Maine System (UMS) has agreed to comply with President Donald Trump's executive orders to keep men identifying transgender people out of women's sports.

According to the report, USDA awarded UMS at least $29.78 million for research in 2024 alone. In a letter to the system, USDA said it has awarded more than $100 million to UMS in recent years.
