2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday night promised the Libertarian Party that he would appoint party officials to positions in his administration if he is elected on the party’s vote.

“Nominate me or vote for me. Vote for me. Because the Libertarian Party wants to vote for me, and most of them will, and that’s very important, because we have to get rid of the worst president in history, and we’re going to do it together,” Trump said of Biden. “And without that, we’re in danger of not having a country in four more years.”
“So what’s the purpose of the Libertarian Party getting 3 percent?” the Republican candidate asked. “Why risk letting this awful president destroy our country? He’ll get it done in less than four years. Less than four years.”
“That’s why I’m promising you tonight that I’ll put a Libertarian in my Cabinet and I’ll put a Libertarian in senior office,” Trump said as the crowd roared.
“That’s pretty good. That’s pretty big,” he said. “Or we can just carry on doing what we’ve been doing for the last couple decades and get 3 percent, meet up and get another 3 percent. No, you want to be a winner. Now is the time to be a winner. You have common sense. Now is the time to be a winner.”
Trump’s appearance at the event drew mixed reactions from attendees, with Republican candidates being greeted with cheers and boos as he spoke, and one libertarian group even tried to exclude Trump and independent candidate Robert F.
