The suspect accused of punching a 9-year-old girl in the face at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal has been arrested after a manhunt.
Jean Carlos Zarzuela, 30, is accused of assaulting a child in the dining concourse around 11:50 a.m. Saturday. CBS News New York report. As the girl was standing near her mother, Zarzuela allegedly walked up to them, punched the girl in the face for no reason, and fled.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) officers said they rescued a girl who complained of dizziness and pain. Pix11. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK. ABC7 report.
According to PIX11, Zarzuela is known to the MTA Police Department. Officers were searching for him and asked for the public’s help in locating him before he was taken into custody and charged with assault on Saturday night.

Last month, a Brooklyn man was arrested on suspicion of randomly punching a woman in New York City. Skiboky Sutra, 40, was arrested on March 25 on suspicion of punching a 25-year-old woman in the head, causing injuries to the left side of her face.
