A recent incident has led to the arrest of a suspect connected to the theft of confidential materials from Beyoncé, including unreleased music and tour plans.

Kelvin Evans was taken into custody at Fulton County Jail in Atlanta on charges including entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft and for violating parole, as reported by local police.

While Evans is now booked, the police have yet to locate the stolen items, which reportedly include hard drives and sensitive materials tied to Beyoncé’s projects.

The surprising theft occurred on July 8, just days before Beyoncé’s performance in Georgia as part of her Cowboy Carter Tour.

According to choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer DeAndre Blue, two suitcases were taken from a Jeep Wagoneer parked near the venue for a scheduled show at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. They discovered the break-in when they noticed damage to the vehicle’s trunk window.

The stolen suitcases were said to contain unreleased music and important documents regarding the tour.

In the police report, it was noted that Grant carried “personal sensitive information for musician Beyonce,” including details for her upcoming shows in Atlanta. It specified that one of the hard drives had unique music, a film plan, and a set list featuring both past and future performances.

The reported theft also included over $1,000 worth of clothing, two laptops, and a pair of AirPods.

Interestingly, authorities reported they had initially traced the suspects using the Apple “Find My” feature tied to the stolen AirPods.

An arrest warrant was issued for Evans on July 14, though it’s unclear if he was already the individual named in that warrant.

As of now, no legal representation for Evans has been publicly identified.
